WEDDINGS AT SBC
At SBC we believe marriage is an institution defined by and ordained by God in the Scripture: Gen. 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; and Eph. 5:22-33. Weddings at SBC are joyous occasions where two Christians, a man and woman, are united before God and witnesses in a worship service.
You can view our entire policy here. Below are some commonly asked questions about using our building for weddings.

Members of SBC may reserve the building for weddings. Members of closely related churches who are able to affirm the SBC confession of faith and church covenant may also reserve the buildings for weddings. Anyone who gets married in our building will have to agree to all the guidelines laid out in our wedding request policy.

Wedding parties will be asked to cover the cost of cleaning, determined by use of the building. As well as pay a fee to cover having someone there to run sound during the rehearsal and ceremony. It is also traditional for the couple to give an honorarium to the pastor and any musicians who may play.
